Sakaki is reunited with the Iriomote Mountain Kitten that she met on the school trip to Okinawa. His mother was killed in a traffic accident the day after their trip. Soon, the “Yamamaya” whom Sakaki soon named Maya, finds Sakaki. Will Sakaki be able to keep Maya.
